Arizona Senate Majority Members Applaud SCOTUS Ruling on President Biden's Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandate
A big victory today for the roughly 80 million American workers that would have been required to receive a newly developed COVID-19 vaccine or weekly testing, after the Supreme Court of the United States blocks the unconstitutional and unethical mandate issued under President Biden's directive to OSHA.
"The people of Arizona are fed up with the Biden Administration's continued attacks on our personal freedoms. A president cannot require vaccines for private employers, and we are grateful the Supreme Court agrees with us. The federal government's continued attempts to force hard-working taxpayers to give up their personal liberties will not be tolerated. We will continue to fight his outrageous overreaches. Justice will always prevail. We're thankful that every Arizonan who wants a vaccine has the ability to get one, and we support the medical decisions of those who do not. We stand for personal choice."
The Court appropriately found that OSHA clearly exceeded its authority by attempting to regulate public health in a broad fashion. Imposing a standard on some Americans, because they work for businesses with more than 100 employees, demonstrates the selective nature of this overreach.
